Tried it, Mpike MDEF 4000Healer I also tried other things. I have to say it was fun, however I did find that the novelty wears off quite soon. You will be able to hold your own against both BH and most Jedi, but with the new Publish, there isnt really any point in doing the healer, since doctor would be as (if not more) effective for healing.

With a Jedi/Pikeman hybrid there will be a few drawbacks, e.g. when you run ou of force (which will be quite quickly, when using Aura - no need for COB, and healing you will run out of force pretty quickly) you will also be weak verus drainforce (but who isnt?). You wont be able to go into the knight trials either.

If you were to do a Pike/Jedi hybrid, I wouldnt go MDEF, possibly just 4440 with 4000healer and 0002 enhancer, this template would survive better than mdef in my opinion, you have no use for 0004def since valor wont count when using pike.

Honestly though, with the new patch I feel that Pikeman/Tkm/4000doctor or Pikeman/Swords/4000Doctor will be just as effective, plus you wont be hunted by BH.

I am about to try out Mpike/Menhancer/Healer 4000.
With enhancer, I should be able to counter alot of the difficuties of a Hybrid Jedi proffesion, mostly being lack of force.
If things get to hairy, stasis and force run will do it for me.

So far I'm having a blast with it.
Havn't tried pvp yet, still trying to get SEA's and the best damage pike I can find.


Force has so far not been a problem, even in the long drawn out fights you just don't use that much. Since I don't use force to attack, I can use it all for healing and Force armor and with force speed increasing my attacks, I can do some great DPS.

Of course, while I'm not a tank, and can't tank anywhere near has well has a Mdef, I can hold my on and with 1500 point heals and improved infusion running, I can tank two cl 82's without dropping to 3/4 of my health.

Force run 3 is the most fun ability...ever.

Get in over my head? Stasis some or all of them (Make sure your auto attack is off) force mediate and channel and then attack the rest.

The resist state's havn't been handy in pve, but if they work, they will be a god send in pvp, especailly resist snares and roots (Don't remeber the name).

Cool, I hope you have even more fun with it . I got drawn away from the pikeman/hybrid jedi when the healing changes were made so I figured that I can make my alt doc/pikeman/swords, and then persue full jedi and allow myself to get extra content with the frs etc, but then I had the bugged infinite respec thing, so that messed my token respec and I got annoyed with the poor (or lack of) customer service that was provided, so I decided to leave the game for that reason .

The resist snare/root skill sounds awesome , I would also imagine with FA2 and COB you will be able to tank pretty well.

With Pike/MDEF/4xxx healer, i didnt really need to run aura the difference in damage was almost unnoticecable, but a drain jedi would take you out very very fast.
