Ok guys i'm trying to put all this together, so I need some help with this.

I just got novice, so what is the best way to work up this tree.

I've heard stances then defence. Is this true?

Please advise.

get defense 1 first. for the sweep.

then go straight up stances. then go back and do the remainder of defenses and the offensive.....whilst doing the combat EXp one allong the way, unfortunatly the combat exp is probably the most valuble one.....a pikeman who is 4/0/1/4 is probably 85% as power full as a master.....with the exception of area attack all the other moves are helpfull, Leg hit 3 is king of a waste it is so slow and HAM costly...stick with leg hit 2 in my opinion.
