Sorry for the awful pun to that excellent movie, but antares gave me an idea when he sent an e-mailto all the Pikemen on Kauri. Since he made such a large list of Pikemen he has seen (I think it was 35), I thought it would be neat if we all sorta pitched in for a large building to house tournaments about once a week for the advanced melee professions (except TK, I'll tell you why later). Here are the rules:

1. Free to watch, 1000 credits to participate.

2. No armor

3. No guns

4. No healing

5. You must use a weapon, but only the weakest weapon of your profession (ex. us pikemen would use a wood staff. This is to make the fights more interesting and not last 3 seconds. As a twist, it would make people search for high-end easy weapons. )

6. Buffs are allowed, but must be applied BEFORE fighting.

7. No slay. (That goes without saying)

8. Winner gets the half the pot and the rest goes to furnishings.

Feel free to comment on any of this or add any rules you may feel that are necessary and we may get this thing going. My character is Ameneli Rosulara on Kauri if you want to send a tell.You got to admit, this would be fun.

You could make it like a joust tourney and have everyone fight from mounts. That insures no specials are used as you cant usespecials on a mount. You could even have two divisions mounted and unmounted combat.
