I gave up Master Pikeman about 2 or 3 months ago because all the FOTMs started hammering into it. So, I started working on various other professions. I went rifleman for a bit, gave up before mastering it, started Pistoleer, gave up before masting it, went Carbineer, gave up when I needed 4 boxes to master it, Was thinking of doing BH, but said forget it, and then tried swordsman, and dropped it after 2 boxes. The only combat profession I have ever mastered is Pikeman, and honestly, FOTMs or no, I'm taking it back. There was nothing cooler than charging in and area sweeping a whole mob, then taking them out with area 2. IN close quarters, it's pretty much unstopable.

So, last night, I completely gave up Swordman and 2 handed brawler and picked up my reinforced combat staff and went after quenkers again. With my Dewback behind me, just in case, I started wailing on quenker after quenker and finally got my LVA certification again. So, things are looking okay now, I'm back to a profession I like and I got my pets to back me up.

Glad to be back, hope to be able to salute some more career pikemen out there, and hope the FOTMs just "move along."
