Ok, first of all, newbie posts of whining and everythign has got to stop. I'm not saying that every post where someone is complaining is a newbie and is whining. No, in fact, the people that post about the real issue, like the +4 toughness, or block not working, should be LISTENED to.

SoE is gonna get NO WHERE if all they see is all the newbie posts about dieing to something or another. People should be up real issue, and SilverSurfer should be our voice. We don't need 100 thousand people whining about 100 thousand different things.

If a problem seem to be a problem with everyone, Surfer should tell SoE. No offense to SoE, but they don't actually play the game (must of them anyway) and this is how they find out what the problems are.

Again, Surfer should be our voice and only problems of importance should be placed here. When a problem is obviosly a problem for everyone, Surfer should/will tell SoE. So please, if it's not that important, don't post about it. This is our voice to SoE, along with Surfer, and shouldn't be clogged up with useless garbage and bad ideas to the developers.

P.S. Silver Surfer - I read the posts about what you have told SoE, and what they are planing on changing, and I want to thank you for what you have done. You are taking the real issues and telling them to SoE, so that something can be done. I am not bashing you or the job you have done at all.

Thanks, I'm just trying to be loyal to my class, and my peers... I think you guys are doing well in your posts, no one knows if everyone is having a problem unless the go to the board and post it. Ya, there is the occational polearm II person who come in and state that they are unhappy being a pikeman (lol, I bet half of them are not even pikemen when they complain about it, lol). Seriously though, I am trying to be with you guys and just do what, I am sure, any of you would do if you were in my place.

Yea, ur doing a good job. I just wanted to make any people that are unaware of the fact that newbie complaining posts do get read, so try to keep them to a minimum.

That doesn't mean don't post, I think people should post if they have gotten far and experimented and worked with the problem they have. Like Silver Surfer said, don't come in when ur polearm 2 and complain about how pikeman suck .

Filter out msgs? I can't do that, I only get to Float msgs tothe topfor everyone to see... Apparently SOE doesn't want people to abuse those powers, so they give it on a limited scale.

Also, if there is a thread that has been answered before, just kindly point them in the right dirrection, and then let it die by not posting anything else on the thread.

When I said "filter out messages" I was referring your ability to read all the messages and distill them down to a set of recommendations for the developers. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Yea, by filtering out, didn't mean deleting messages, just meant that you should read the message, and "filter out" the problems that don't seem a huge importance, or that are of no importance.

This is a little of topic, but Surfer, are you actually a Zabrak or do you just use that pic? If you are a Zabrak, can u tell me ur stat arrangement, because I'm a Zabrak (because they look col ) and I feel my stats may not be the best for Pikeman. I'm also Tailor and going some in Pistoleer.

As for my stats, they are a bit different then what you might find elsewhere... I use all 3 pools, a lot. I am an Entertainer, Artisan, and a Pikeman (though Pikeman is always number one )

Also, I don't know everything, I just read everything... hehe, I need more sleep, I actually thought that was funny...

Anyways the stats:

Health: 1000 Strength:450 Constitution: 400

Action:1000 Quickness:425 Stamina:400

Mind: 650 Focus: 325 Willpower:750

My Con andStam are maxed, cause it allows me to heal in battle faster, and when not in battle so I can jump back in again soon. The Will is high enough to support only 650 mind and helps when using stim pacs and artisan-like skills.

This may not work for everyone, and I am still tweaking as of this day, so, It's not perfect, but I'll take it

Actually I think this is one of the more productive forums overall. Most of the complaining posts are even fairly well constructed. Compare this forum to what is going on in the main SWG forum and you will understand that things are actually pretty good here.

Also, the Correspondent is responsible for filtering through the chaff. If someone is relatively new they aren't going to know whether their issue is important or not. I say they should post it, and let the Correspondent filter it out. I don't think that posting here wastes anybody's time at Sony.

Boba, your absolutly right. This is one of the mostprotductive forums. And it is Surfers job to read through everything, and people should post problems. I guess I was kinda mad when i wrote it, so I'll try to condense it, and put it better....

"If you have a problem, post it. Surfer is doing a good job going through everything and telling sony. The one thing we don't need though, is people who aren't even pikemen yet, complaining about Pikeman profession. Spend time with it, become a pikeman, if it is still a problem, by all means post it. But please don't dwell on it. We don't need the same person posting the same problem over and over (not that it is happening, I'm just saying). So, if you have a problem, check the board, look at what others feel, and if you still feel it is a problem for the PIKEMAN profession, not the brawler with polearm skills (master polerarm could probably count, but still). If you've spent time with the profession, we want to hear from you. If you just picked up a polearm and died, we most likely don't want to hear from you."
