Thread: the HAM costs....
i was thinking about the HAM costs, and looking at the descriptions for these vibro weapons, on both the LVA, and th VL, it states that the vibro unit is used to inflict more damage and take less effort....
wait...less effort?...less effort means it would be less HAM right?...
so why does a vibro weapon, which takes less effort to swing to do damage, take double or triple the HAM costs of regular staffs?....
then you look at TKA, their knucklers, and unarmed take less HAM then our weapons, i think if you were punching someone, it would hurt you after awhile more then it would hitting them with a stick....
i can understand and think the delay on our weapons compared to others is perfect now, and should not be adressed, also the damage of the weapons is good enough, but the accuracy, and HAM both need to be seriously looked into, i think TKA's should be more accurate per hit then a heavy swordsman or a pikeman, but i dont think the gap should be so drastic as it is now, because if you think about it, its alot more accurate to punch someone in the face instead of tryin to whack them with a stick, the damage for getting hit in the face with a bat would obviously be a hell of alot more then getting punched
one issues that isnt really pikeman related.....no animation for deathblow?.....we're standing over their body with a huge polearm, long vibro axe....and we choose deathblow, and they just become a corpse out of nowhere?.....put the polearm to use, behead them, or slam the polearm down on them or something interesting that would be a deathblow, not just turning them into a corpse

Yeah, I concur with Apake on the acuracy bit as well as the animation for DB. There is a lot of potential to make some very nice animation for that.
Also, he mentions a staff as a defensive weapon, and our toughness is only +4? Has that been fixed or is it not an issue.
