After a bunch of very entertaining close encounters I've completed pikeman, and now that i have 0 skill points left its time to hunt for an energy lance schematic!

Congrats. I just Mastered Pikeman a few days ago myself 
Good luck hunting for that schematic. I will be waiting until they make that a permenent weapon... like that will happen....
