Ive grinded through a lot of proffesions on my way to the elusive force slot (27 and counting) and so far i have to say pikeman is one of my most favourite ones. So far i have found that i can solo almost anything on dantooine (force npc excluded) with just myt 75 percent ubese, doctor buffs and my looted vibro lance.

I think the pikeman experience is directly correlated to your weapon. Mine started of as a 509 damage 3.3 speed one. A good speed slice later and here it is http://www.geto.net/~biotch/swg/lance.jpg .

My favorite part of beinga Pikeman (and why I started the profession) is watching the generic combat moves. Twirling a long axe or staff or lance, hitting high and low, jabbing the buttend, and generally looking like a kung fu weaponsmaster just makes me giddy.
