New Pikeman here, gonna drop Armorsmith, and give it a go... Everyone else is Fencer, or TKM, thought I'd try something different. Question: The skill tapes that I see that say +1 Polearm speed, What exactly does +1 get me? Or any of the other skill tapes, like Polearm Accuracy +2? Any idea how the +(insert number here) coincides with the game? Thanks

stick with armorsmith, honestly youll regret it the first time you kill yourself from HAM costs while missing a Chuba 9 times.

Most difficult part for me, so far, has been combat XP. I spent all of my combat XP on Ranged Support so I could get myself to Squad Leader. This has made me somewhat.... innacurate, with my polearms (can't get Pike Support tree yet).

Still, ignore mr. negative up there.. it's fun. I, personally, have learned to not wear armor and let someone else tank while I knockdown/PH2 the mobs I fight. Early on, the Lance is your friend... right now, at 0020, I use a Lance most of the time. When I knock down an enemy, I switch to LVA/VL (depending on resists), and proceed to clobber it with PH2. Then I just hope it's close to dead.

Anyway, ignore the whiners, and have fun. At the very least, we have the absolutely coolest animations in the game.

The speed modifier counts as a percentage point. The accuracy adds directly into your accuracy mod that is weighed against the defenses of your target.

Ah, ok so +1 speed is a 1% gain, and so on. Cool, thanks for posting the info.

Right, that's not because the points for the skill mods always are equivalent to a percentage, just with speed.

Well, I've been using some Comp armor with 2 to 4 sockets per piece, all loaded with armor attachments from speed, accuracy, damage, intimidation, warcry, counterattack, etc... and I really cannot tell a difference, then when I fight without the use of the armor and attachment skill upgrades. I wonder if these things are really working?

I doubt that you would notice a 1% increase in speed?

I have full suit with 25 speed and damage. And there is a huge defference in the way I attack.
