Unfortunately? last I saw on the chef boards synthsteak was bugged. When your armored supposedly you can manage to absorb through armor and mitigate throught the buff more damage then you actually receive. Is it an evil marketing scheme? Maybe, no screen shots were posted, but the read off of this guys combat log made it seemlike armor and the buff take their consideration off the totaldamage applied. So with a lightarmor rating and around a 50% resist, and a 25% redux from the buff, you can take no damage. Do I belive it, yes, patch night it took a groupof 9 to bring down one imp, didn't look likehe was taking damage, prolly untill his stomach was full. The firefight lasted8 minutes.

So, how did you all like the new Chef foods n drinks?
My favourites so far are:
BoH (1500-2000 str, quick, focus for 10 minutes)
Won-Won (300-400 str, 400-800 constitution for 10 minutes)
Smugglers delight(reduces spice downer duration) ...I use this one before I hit the spice and then BoH and Won-Won.
Also I got a question about the new dam reduce food(Wafer, Synthsteak and Flameout):
How do they calculate a "hit"? Is it when you take damage, cause in that case a block would probably count as a "hit". Dodge would not count, and counterattack is a mystery?

Does food also have the downer effect? I bought a bunch of Brandy last night. The stats were +350 to Mind Focus Willpower for just over 30 minutes. I haven't tried it yet.

There is no downeffect from food and drinks, only ups

Im playing as pikeman/doc so the only thin i use atm is valerian brandy and the vagerian canapes or how it's spelled
Full buffed and with thoose nice enhacements the specials almost cost no mind to do
(Most krayts killed solo a day atm is 9 :smileysurprised

If I find the dirty, low down, no good, rotten, filthy, scummy, piece of crap that keeps one starring Braglors posts I'm going to stick my foot so far up their arse I'll have to open their mouths to tie my shoe!
