Thread: Question about Pikeman skill attachments

You know, the way Damage SEA's work actually sucks ass, now that I think about it.
...It should be a percentage increase inthe first place, but also does it just increases the Max Damage? If so, its not so good for Pikeman, with Damage Midigation and all it can actually hurt us...

Thanks for the info. Anyone else have any thoughts about skill tapes for pikemen? Is block better than counterattack?

hummm, please read Antares reply again 
Iwould suggest trying to get some of the cool bizarro SEAs, those with say -5 to polearm accuracy and etc..

Speaking of, how much would a +8 pike counter/ +7 rifle speed be worth do you guys think? I think i may get more from a hopeful rifleman that thinks tapes are gonna be fixed soon

I justed started the pikeman climb. I am a novice pikeman (0/0/0/0). What are the advantages of getting the armor and clothing attachments for pikeman? I want to track down all four pikeman attachments: polearm accuracy, polearm speed, polearm counterattack, and polearm damage. Will having +25 in all four of these skills help much? I know little about them, so any help will be appreciated.

Replace counterattack with block. Counterattack won't do much good.
+25 speed will increase your weapon speed by 25%.
+25 damage will increase your min and max damage output by 25 to each.
+25 block will increase your total block skill by 25, which is a 21.7% increase at master.
+25 accuracy will increase you total accuracy skill, like nearly an extra Support box, which would be a 16.7% increase in accuracy at master.
Expect to spend a lot of money.

The +7 rifle is useless, it wont count.
The pike counter-attack?? We don't have a pike counter-attack.
Which basically makes the thing worth next to nothing.
Go peddle it on the forums. You might get someone who doesn't know any better to give you 100k or something for it. Unless, like you said, there is a rifleman out there who thinks the tapes might get fixed. Worthless to pikemen though.
