(my alt is a master pikeman, 4-3-0-0 fencer, and 0440 in doc)

I'm looking for something to do with this character when I want to get away from crafters hell (I get at least 10 tells the second I log on to my main)

Was wondering how does pikman fair against high end npc mobs such as NS's, force crystal hunters, Giant dune kimos, dwarf nunas...

What are you guys killing for fun out there?

Basically, all NS, all the time for me. If im fighting pve they offer the most fun, and as a pikeman they also offer the highest reward. With a decent lva they go down rather quick, and even pre-master you should never die if you manage your food/drink intake well, and are buffed.

kiting is the easy part of pvp, use this:

/target <player name>;
/follow;
/burstrun;

now if they are a Master Combat medic I use this macro:

Shift+Escape;
go to the forums;

works everytime.. LOL

I'm gonna go try my hand at some NS's... what about Giant Dune Kimos? any master pikes have any luck with these? and Force Crystal Hunters? (I want to get as many of these crystalsnow before that place is camped like the DW bunker..)

Giant Dune Kimogilas are certainly killable, but man are they a pain in the ass.

The constant diseasing is irritating enough, but recently I've noticed them "melee-kiting" as well. They don't usually run until the end (when they warp 80m at a time), but they keep squirming just out of range.

Despite that, I personally find GDKs more fun to fight than the current state of Nightsisters (of course I fight the NS anyway). You know something's wrong when even a wookiee pikeman can tank a half-dozen nightsisters at a time with no risk. The unarmed autoattack all the NPCs are doing makes for a dull fight. Just get a bunch on you, area attack until they die, repeat. I got killed a lot more often when they used force powers and special attacks, but I at least had fun doing it.

My big plan for something new and fun was to find a Gorax. Gorax are very hard to find...

Hate to sound noobish but being a former hologrinder i've missed out on alot of things, so what's a gorax and where can I start looking?

Ever see the old made for tv Ewok movies? The Gorax was the enormous hairy thing There's a picture of it in the game here.

Basically, it's a big ape thing on the same general difficulty level as a krayt. It used to spawn from the final mission given by the marauders, but was removed for awhile. Now it's back as a random spawn in the northern deserts of Endor, but is awfully hard to find. Legend has it it spawns after you kill a lair of stoneskin hanandaks, which I've also not been able to find.

The real trick will be actually killing the thing when I do find one. Not what I'd call soloable.
