Cant help you with afk exp, but once I got a decent area attack I stayed on Lok fighting mynoks and gurks. You get a bunch of mynoks per lair, and I was getting lots of exp fast AEing them. I know lots of other swear by the quenker missions on dant tho, so you might want to try these two places out and see which works best for you.

Just go to Lok and plop yourself in the middle of the kimogila town and go AFK. Keep in mind that metal staffs are the best weapons to use against kimogilas.

i did naffs all day with a person trying to get to pikeman
i also killed loads of random stuff wen i was finding a naff lair

When you get area attacks, go in a large "solo group" on dantooine and get ravanger quenker missions that pay around 13k, they give you 4.9k XP per quenker, andif your in a large group, lots of them spawn at once(they're only slightly harder than normal savage quenkers). Be sure to be buffed and armored. Every 2 ravanger quenker missions gives you around 80k XP.

First and for most any AFK'er I see fighting stuff, gets reported. I talk to him first, if he reacts I leave him alone, else he will be reported and AFK fighting is stilla banable offense last time I checked. I'm sick and tired of gettingto the bottom of a cave, I just worked hard for to get there (I don't use buffs, except brandy,nor armor), to see some twit in full comp AFK killing the boss and looting the good loot.
If you don't want to play your profession, pick another one, else leave combat to the ones who want to play the game and are actually at their keyboards.

Yeah I was wondering where the button was that you press to master pikeman, I've been trying my hardest to find it but no luck yet
