Pikeman is better than fencer on damage in PvE, worse than TKA and Swordsmen. In PvP we're the worst unless we use strong DoT weapons.

We're the worst at tanking.

I have been Master Fencer/ Master Swordsman/Master Pikeman this is my opinion.

Master Fencer is the best defensive Profession period. If you can get an Aclay Stun baton youll be uber, otherwise combine its mods with a more damaging profession. With that said Fencer can take down just about anyone PvE, thanks to stun damage.

Master Swordsman is the best offensive Profession in the game PvE wise due to blast damage. Scythe is aslo a bad weapon. Master Swordsman can take down any mob in the game. With that said the defenses are rather meager.

Master Pikeman, well we can knockdown just about anything in an area and that is cool, we can get pretty fast, were fairly accurate, we do big damage but not Swordsman damage. You wont be able to get the Nightsister energy Lance unless you are a Swordsman/ know a Swordsman/ are in a big guild/ or have lots of money. The Nightsister Mind Fire Lances (lances with mind disease) are a baz nitch to get. Pike needs the most help from skill tapes, food, slices, armour. If you can get enough stuff to hit the caps and the uber lances you are going to be a pretty bad momma jammer. Our moves are the coolest.

If you want a great PvE build look into MasterSwordsman or Master Pikeman and Fencer 4440.

For PvP I suggest Master Rifleman/ Master Combat Medic. They have the I win button.
