ye thats the problem, everyone have so damn much money, im gona bid 12mil to get that mind fire lance i want. 
People might choose us for the DoT:s but i honestly think its good, because only the dedikated ones stay pike

The other day I won an auction for a 4.3 speed, 666 damage vibro lance - Unsliced! (Nice, no?)
Now I admit I bid exactly 10 seconds from the auction end time on purpose, but there was no anti-sniper rule.
Today after picking it up (650k, big wow) I get a tell from the other person who bid on it.
He starts crying to me and very quickly he tells me about how he is hologrinding, and this would have let him LVL much faster.
I can honestly say I've never felt better about buying a weapon before.
(Got it sliced by the auctioneer, a speed slice <sigh>. So now its 666 damage, 3.2 speed. The auctioneer felt really bad about the bad slice and gave me a 200ish mind poison lance, -1 uses with over 70% potency)
Just thought I would share a nice story for a buncha people ina profession that gets no love.

nice too bad everyone on my server is so rich they outbid me on everything, i do have a 786 max damage LVA that my friend gave me tho which is really nice

Yup. That's the way to get a pike. Go to a real pikeman and tell them that you're hologrinding their proffession, and say you'd be done with it much quicker if you had their pike. What a genius.
