The new patch reduced the range of my Poisonspike to 5m from 60m. Has that happened to anyone else? I'm guessing the devs came up with some new code in the new patch that "fixed" the range of this.

Fixed is an overstatement. Consider yourself lucky for having used this weapon unchecked for so long.

It was a beutifull thing while it lasted, 120m diameter KD was the most wonderfull thing ever. Talk about crowd control.

ahh, the joy of the poisonspike, 60m radius area attacks are now just a distant memory. it's gonna be a real drag now having to chase critters who stray outsider the 5m range now. it was so great just being able to stay put and attack like a ranged prof.

yep happened to me too man. a bummer for sure
i dunno about everyone else...but i miss legendary/exceptional weapons. not that i ever had any, but i liked the variety in pvp, and when you saw that person that had the uber weapon, you were like oh crap! on vent lol
that's what the 60m pike was like for me. i made people say oh noes!

Look on the brightside anyone whos half decent has a caped dmg and ac weapon and we can be exact clones of eachother.

i didn't get one of these, but many on bria had them from the opposing faction 
you could say i strongly disliked them!

I say a 60m melee weapon wasn't a 'legendary' weapon, it was an error, and fixing it wasn't a nerf. Though it was cool to see.

I think you are right on the nose, it wasnt a nerf, it was a mistake or might have been intended but it was silly (they made 25m knucklers too), was I sad to see it go, heck yes it was one of the most fun things in the game to aggro countless mobs and try to outrun them
