hello all, i need advice on how to get fairly high damage output without having to pick up a second combat profession.

i am seriously hitting so slow and for so little that i end up doing very little damage and just end up running an opponent out of mind.

now i know pikes isnt meant to be a total damage doing profession, but is there any thing that i can do to get my damage output increased? i have +25 acc in tapes, but i havent bought crispic yet.

i was mainly wondering which attacks you use and which weapons/foods you use, thanks

Well without picking up another profession I think the only thing you can do is

A) Get a good speedliced weapon
B) General melee speed/accu +25
C) Polearm speed/accu +25
D) Good Melee Crispic will give you +70-73 accu
E) Forgot the name of the drink (shame on me im a chef) +200 melee accu for 1m short but usefull on some occasions

ok thanks, i think you are thinking about pyro, which is ranged acc +200...but i may be confused....

anyone else have ideas?

there's a melee acc drink that's called corellian ale, stats end up about about the same as the deuterium-pyro which is for ranged, 200 ishto accuracy for about 50 seconds.

talk to carl in the ryatt trail, then you get sent to the wookiee next to him, then to a wookiee in the big tree and then finally Gursan in the huts infront of the big tree. its a long quest and the space missions, the dude you have to kill in hunting grounds and definatly the blackscale compound are extremely hard. took me 3 tries to get blackscale and the when i completed it we had 5 mins left on the clock. was a great group of people. i suggest a jedi, doc, and CM being in the group

1) get a GOOD pike (kamino greatstaff or a pre-CU VL if you can't get one)

btw, im now at +50 acc in tapes and its alot better, getting a pre-CU pike with 950 max unsliced

well ladies and gents, never mind on the advice, i am going back to carbineer, the template i wanted isnt very effective oh well lol

thats ok, we didn't need a quitter

well...got myself a 1025 max pike, and im sitting happy now....no need to drop it, infact it is a great template
