From what I am guessing, it is retroactive, and supposedly is fixing a bug, as it was always suppose to have a condition rating.

Stupid submit button.
Now all I can say is that the s**t is going to hit the fan, especially for those who have spent a ton of money on pikeman speed tapes. I have only spent about 2 mil for my +3 and +4, but I am sure there are those who have spent a whole lot more, and will not be pleased. Not here to complain, but rather to let everyone know and to get ready.

If it is part of patch 10, which I suspect it is, 2-3 weeks maybe?

I'm hoping it won't be disabled and if it will degrade like clothing, I really couldn't care less. My best attachment is in a normalshirt that is still in very good condition eventhough I tend to die a quite a bit. (I really should learn to wear armor when attacking turrets

As far as I can tell, skill mods continue to work even when items are totally decayed. As long as decayed shirts don't become unequippable, disable the mods, or create an armor hole it really doesn't matter if they decay or not.
Not that it does me a damn bit of good as a Wookiee anyway. +11 polearm speed and +11 block sit idly in my home.

So every day there are hundreds of complaints on various boards about bugs and broken professions and they choose to "fix" this one? **edit**ing genius.
And if this IS retroactive will current stuff be given condition or just be left disabled?
