Just a couple quick observations after hitting master that maybe a few vets can respond to.
Obviously, hit 3 postures down but does very nice damage. Problem is if you do sweep than hit 3, you bring up the knocked down mob.
Same thing with using brawler lunge than hit 3.
What I'm looking for is what combos you guys use. Do you use leg 3 often with the bleed and the kd's??
I tried that last night. Started off (ns hunter) on intimidate, bleed, area 3 to try to dizzy and stun, than tried to kd if dizzy was on...would you than go for leg if kd worked or do hit 3??
Just trying to get someideas....Do you guys use stun 2 often?? Does that work better than area 3 for stunning? Does Area 3 stick dizzy better than spin 2??
Any input appreciated.

I often hunt with a master swordman friend of mine. Because of the problem with the knockdown/posture change attacks I usually use sweep2 followed by area2. The creatures/npcs stay down longer that way and thus we deal more damage.
I don't use stun2/spin2 because i can do more damage with area2. But then I have +17 in polearm speed tapes. I think there is no difference in the sticking of states between the various attacks.
I don't use the bleeds because the creatures usually dies fast enough. LH3 i sometimes use to finish a creature, should he be low on action.
Hope that helps..

Yes, thank you...I did many ns's last night and I think it's just that it's hard to land stats on those mobs. I can land it on the lower level ns's but forget about the protectors and elders.
I've been intimidate, bleed, area to try and stick a state, than just gone to hit 3 unless it's an elder. If it's an elder, i just keep it intimidated and kd'd and let me my swordsman do the work. I've spammed 30 stun shots in a row and didn't land one. I don't think i have ever stunned an elder??
Thanks...Would love some more input from some of the vets.

It's nearly impossible to stick any state at all on elders, and very difficult to land any on protectors. It happens, but is so difficult to do that it's better to focus on just doing damage and not worry too much about states (other than intimidate, of course).
The best moves to use depend a lot on whether or not you're speed capped. Without speed mods, you're better off using leghit2 than leghit3, since its DPS is considerably higher. Similarly, until you cap on it stun2 is the highest DPS area attack, with area2 becoming the best at higher speeds. Hit3 is the highest DPS at any speed, of course.
Generally if I'm fighting something like a single protector I'll try to get her on her back (not necessarily easy), hit her with both bleeds when she's down, then just pound away with leghit2. It makes for a pretty quick fight, especially if you throw in an action poison.
Against a group of creatures I'll generally use stun2 as an area attack, since dizzying is pointless. Against NPCs I'll use area2 until they're dizzy, then sweep 2, then sweep 1 to take down any stragglers, then stun2. The exception is if one pulls out a stun baton, in which case I try to take it down as quickly as I can. The exception to the exception is if they all pull out stun batons (like dark troopers love to do), then I go back to my original dizzy/kd technique.
With weaker opponents of course strategy doesn't matter so much, so I do whatever attacks I feel like seeing at the time.
