ok guys, i just got my own NEL!!! yay!
it was all good until i found out. . .LIGHT AP, not much more than 300 dmg. . . i have yet to see any of the cool effects the devs claim it does. . .i was quite dissapointed. . 5.75m down the drain. . this makes me want to drop pikemen. .

Well yeah it's a POS as a weapon but hey! it's allsparkly for a few seconds after you load!

Who gets an EL to actually use? You get it for the look -It's all for show.

The NSEL pwns looks, that is the only thing that matters about it.

It does have them. Make sure you're particle effect setting is up high first. Then, after you load from a shuttle, or relog, when you move around you'll see the electricity effects, unless you have a really slow connection and you only become active after the time has passed. The effects are temporary, lasting about15 seconds, so if you take a while loading, you'll miss it. Others will see the electricity after you unequip and re-equip the weapon and move around. You can also see sparks when you're fighting with it.

i actualy like mine, over 400 damage, good accuracy mods (helps loads against fencers and pistoleers), its energy and light ap so im not sure if it gets blocked by PSGs thou.
and looks damn cool when u hit stuff and get off shuttles, since i got mine i know i will never drop pikeman again, even to try out new professions.
personally make it heavy ap, and i wont complain about the damage.
i think it should be at least heavy so we can have an attempt to damage elders seriouly, and not do like 20 damage a shot

2cents: Heavy AP would be nice, but even a bump to medium would make this weapon oh-so-much-more effective.
It's a sad day when you realize that the most coveted weapon in the game is merely a toothpick with a tesla coil at the end for a light show =P

Yea some better damage would be nice.. But on the other hand it has Energy as damage type. which gives Pikeman 3 damagetypes.. more than any other Melee .. I think 
But yea.. its "the Holy Grail" of Pikemans, and mostly for show. And such a good show it is. Well spent 4.5 Million I woud say. Whoever needs money on the bank

Hey my nsel has a 450 damage on it and the 2.9 speed... WOOT... lol I like using it and for all of you who didn't get the perfect damage slice it makes up in awesome visuals

I got mine assembled so I didn't have to pay for someone else's NSEL. Have a schematic and 2 pairs of motors waiting to get assembled when i get the other sets so I can have 5 more pieces of decoration
