Master Pikeman
0440 Fencer (could be 4400 if I wanted melee and ranged defense)
4300 TKA
0040 Pistoleer
Novice Medic
Now you may say that this template will kill me because i have bareley any ranged or melee defense... but in the end does it matter? In PvP regardless people will find ways to hit you and they will miss you only a small amount of the time (at least if they know what they're doing). But this is a tank focused template for sticking dots and knocking down targets (yes... I'm without Master Brawler *sniff sniff*) which I'll have to work with lunge 1 or sweep but really this is mostly dot focused and for taking some shots taht others couldn't normally take. Posture down, stun, knockdown, blind, and dizzy defenses are ALL over 100 so it's gonna take a bit of work to apply some of those states, not to mention I can apply states to give them even MORE hell.
Overall: The purpose of this template is to be a meatshield and DOT applier, and I really doubt I'll be outputting much damage physically, but I SHOULD be pretty hard to kill.
I expect to receive some flames and more comments, I don't think this is an *uber* templte but one that might be one to look into.

actually i saw some with that exact same template and i pwned him way to easy. even with your secondary defenses that high it doesn't matter. i'm a master pikeman/fencer/brawler, tk 4/0/0/3, novice medic. i applied state state changes to that template pretty easily. really it all comes down to what you want to do, try said template and if you like it keep it. other wise you can just try something else. i've gone through about 5 different templates before i got to this one. so good luck on it...

I've switched my template around a bit from one of these two:
Master Pikeman/Master Doctor/1000 Scout
or
Master Pikeman/Master Doctor/0010 Entertainer

AFAIK the Def. vs. Stats capped at +90...Devs stated that there is allways a 10% chance to land a stat...so havin +100 is not needed...and second imo pike is not the best prof for "tanking"....only +31 toughness is not the big deal...compared to tka´s +62(both as m-brawler)...but anyway...may u have a look at: master brawler/pike/tka 4304/fencer 0440 and medic 0040....to drop the pistoleerline and havin some lower def. vs. stats is not the big thing compared to the lack of master brawler and medc 0040....intimidate2, warcry2, lunge2 extra on spd. + toughness + cob + accuracy and ability to use stims "d" are more than worth it...

i'm master pike/doc 4030/master brawler. i've seen many people w/ master pike/fencer 3000/doc 4440. I personally think my template w/ master brawler would have the hand up in a duel. what do you think?

M pike/M rifle/Fencer 3400/Novice Medic
M pike/m swordsmen/m brawler/fencer 3400/Novice Medic
Both nice if speed capped on both sword and rifle.

I think I might do this one instead because of 3 things.
1. he's right about defenses capped a 90 (can't believe I forgot that).
2. Master Brawler and Pharmacology IV are great addons
3. LESS GRINDING!

you cant beat most PVPer without doc becase everybody uses poisons or fires. sure you would have a good chance of beating someone without dots but you wont ever be one of the elitepvpers without doc

If you're going for the stacker template, go Master Rifleman/Master Pikeman/0040 Pistoleer/2130 medic.
The only thing that could kill me with that template was DOTs.

My Template at the momentis as follows not tried it in PVP as just finsihed.
Master Pike/Fencer Medic 4-4-4-1 Brawler 4-4-0-4 and i got 8 sp spare.
