Hi i was wondering if i fought a NS elder with master pikeman/brawler could i kill it?

Master swordsman, solo maybe, depends how good your buffs/armor/heals/speed is. Master rifle absolutely not, without melee mitigation and tougness youll get ripped apart.

I was able to solo a nightsister elder with my template: Master Pike/TKM/4-0-0-0 Fencer
Its possible if u have a NSEL and about 1 1/2 hrs of free time

when they didnt have force powers i could solo pretty quick but now they are way to hard. id stack poison heaths, fires then change to a nsel - probably took 25/20min average. Now it take 15/20 secs to get killed

You cant Solo a Elder without mastering at least two good melee Hybrid professions, having medic, and having UBER 90 percent base armor
and even then you have to get lucky

i've seen someone solo and ns elder with tkm mrm and some medic, was pretty cool they spammed headshots and ran around corners, the ns elder ai made it walk the entire time, didn't take more hten 5mins.........

no TKM with medic can beat an NS elder, and not in 5 mins
i am a TKM, ever with the best VK on my server it will take much much much longer the 5 min to kill it....off its resist to Kenetic alone....the force powers would have torn him to bits...
It was not an Elder you saw that guy beat...

Aside from DoTs and bleeds you couldn't even damage it with just those two classes.
It's theoretically possible you could DoT it down to nothing then plonk it with a CDEF for the killing shot, but that would take just short of forever.

The problem is the resists. Elders are 100% resist to nearly everything except for Blast and Energy. So, yes, as a Master Swordsman who uses a Power Hamer (blast damage) you'd be able to do take one on. You could also take an elder if you were a rifleman using a T21, or maybe even a commando who does blast damage also.

I beat an Elder once without DOT's withthe template in my sig and the only armor I had with me was a mabari helmet (wasn't hunting at the time, so I didn't have my good armor withme)
But I must admit someone had softened her up (she had only 80% kinetic resist left)for me and bit the dustbefore I found her, I just kited her to dead with Lunge2. One of the funniest 30 mins I everhad, at least 3 people flew by on a swoop and stopped towatch me kite her. I think they were all quietly laughing at me with my silly mabari helmet
