I was just curious about how most of us Pikeman get our sick lances.... Are most of them looted personally or bought off other players? Im curious because Im about to go out and hunt NS, but not sure how effective illl be w/o medic.... should I just try to buy them or loot them? Tell me...

I do my best to loot all of mine. The only problem is that with my current template, I'm unable to scratch an elder solo (since they are 100 resist to kenetic and electricity). You'll find that Elders have the best chance of dropping the really nice pikes.

sadly, if you plan on being efficient while killing ns, you need at least novice medic. try to lure them in one at a time and hammer away. remember area 2 and sweep are you best friends.

I buy and loot my lances. Every once in a while you find a good pike, most are rubbish. Player crafted lances suffice for PvE at least.

For PvP or Out damaging someone i use my looted pikes. In normal PvE i use damage sliced crafted ones so not to waste the condition on my better ones

Well, our best Pikes are looted from Elders I hear, and not from Stalkers or Weavers or any lower ones where kinetic can actually DAMAGE them. So when we do go to Dath, whats the plan? Get a doc to come with you? Im not sure, but i know want to start getting some serious pikes, and i dont know whether i should just do Jantas and wait on the boards or go to Dath myself.....

Out of the many elders ive killedI have never looted a good pike, all my good ones are from protectors or spell weavers, which also take much less time to kill, and you can actually hurt without an nsel.
