Well, I haven't returned to Pikeman yet, but I have decided to take my turn as a weaponsmith and produce melee weapons, noteable, Vibro Lance and Long Vibro Axes.
Currently, I'm only a 10-point smith, so when I craft my Vibro Motors, I have 1 point left to sink into either accuracy or HAM. The question is, what is more important to you now? 3 less HAM cost, or another 3 points towards range modifiers? Personally, I like the range modifiers, as I don't fight unbuffed now.

Same with me, Ide rather have the higher ham cost and better acureacy as I normaly fight buffed.

I never fight unbuffed so ham cost is irrelevant

has to be accuracy mods!!
and that axe is just shy of being 110 bud...thats the best i have seen is 110 min ![]()

Besides a Nym LVA and VL, what else can we put on Pikes to make them better when crafted?

NS vibro units. It woudl be nice if the DEVs put out some mor especial componants for pikes, as well as made the crafted ones better. YOu woudl get a wide variety of pikes on the market.
