Thread: Oldest New Master
I too am in a situation a bit like yours. I am a Master Tailor, and only became a Master Pike(wo)man very slowly. But soon I quickly realized how much I liked getting away from the crafting station and laying Tuskens and Nightsisters to waste. I still retain both professions, and will never give up weilding a Pike. We were once a rare profesion until Jedi came along. Now a whole new breed of Pikepeople have cropped up, who now (and only now) realize what a great profession this was. (Before they were probably slamming it)
Enjoy both your trades.

Well, it probably will. Been at it about 10 months now.

All too true. I can think quite a few people who last year made fun of me for being a pikeman and are now running around with LVAs in their hands.
But to get back on topic, congratulations Geisha-Calia!
Hi all
,
I doubt very much if any of you know me. I'm just a quite little Zabrak dancer in the Intrepid galaxy. This weekend, after almost a year and a half of learning toweave the pike, I mastered our profession. Many of you (maybe all of you
)may findit inconceivable that someone could stay in a profession for that long and not reach master but I've never been in a hurry. In my entire existance I have only ever mastered Dance and now Pike and I can't imagine myself as anything else. For the better part of a year Idabbled in the creature handler profession which prevented me fromfurthering my polearms training. It was noteasyfor me to releasemy pets, many of whom I tracked and tamed in remote regions onYavin and the Endor moon, but I made the decission to finish my training.I've had such a great time wandering through this adventure of SWG. I've have some very dear friends on my friends list - its not a lengthy anthology but a cherished collection.
I just wanted to say hi, and to say that I have been a dedicated lurker and have enjoyed learning from your wisdom. If you live in the Intrepid Galaxyand happen to pass my way, say hello and I'd be happy to dance for you.I always enjoy an invitation tojoin a hunting party. I canhelp with the fight andheal weary minds.
