ok ive been in this game a long time and you would think by now i would know what a DOTS potency is...... i dont
can some one plz tell me what the potency does and if its better to have higher or lower

So i guess a VL with 4% potency really frakin sux, right? its strength is like 300 and is a poison

is the 4% potency w/ 300 posion worth buying for 50k?

nice as something to hand on a wall. 50k is like pocket change (for me at least, and im not rich) so why not

Are you a master pikeman? Try and get some polearm accuracy tapes. They will stick if you have high accuracy. So you might want to master pikeman before you go off and sell it if you really just want to use pikeman, i would think master pikeman is a must.

I am a master pikemen, is it worth keeping for use in PvP, i really need a DOT weapon with the strength this one has

on numerous posts i have seen that with Master Pikeman (and sometimes without) the Potency doesn't matter that much, maybe just a couple extra hits, but nothing major.

the potency does matter, always will. a speed capped pikeman swinging a 30 potency mind fire will probably stick sooner than a 0004 pikeman swinging a 60 potency mind fire tho.

get a friend and duel him a few times and start off like you would in any other duel and see how it sticks.........then go to a doc and buy him some poison/disease resistance buffs, and then try it over and over and see what it does...........
