Thread: is it worth getting a nsel?

ok, im masterpikeman/master rifleman.... i picked up rifleman for mostly for energy and high damage and good in pvp, on the other hand i picked pike just because i like doing area dizzy and kd.... and the animations :-D... ok my point is... beside the looks does it make sense getting nsel for energy? considering its only ap1 ....

dancers get better use out of a NSEL then pikeman, they look sweet, but aren't the best to use in fighting, they aren't bad though

I'm starting to question that now. I always get questions asked, and they ask real specific questions like, what kind of resources were used in it. I'm like I dont know, I just fight and hold it! From speed to the how-to-get-one they ask and it gets old :/
(But of course, I would hold no other weapon so thats not an option 
)

Some people use them to hunt elders. But with light ap and low damage I can only think it would take all day to kill one.

In most cases I would say the biggest plus of the NSEL besides looks is having a third damage type added to your arsenol of weapons. Of course, as a rifleman you already have energy damage.
Do you think you'll ever find yourself in a situation where you need to do energy as a melee fighter at the same time?
All in all, it's a great piece and many would kill for one. (including me)

I finally got me one of these things after playing this game for almost 6 months. They are pretty rare, but I got one with a nice damage slice i think it does about 430 max damage. But part of the problem is that because they are so rare and so expensive, I am too scared to use it because I dont want to get it damaged! ha!
But I think the remedy for this was to get another one, so that is what I did. So now I will not mind using it in a fight or two maybe in a PVP battle, just to disease them.
Has anyone used theirs in PVP? Any comments on the pro's and con's of using it on players?

the fast that it is useless in combat doesn't mitigate my desire to have one on my wall

I occassionaly use my 455 damage one. Its mostly just for looks, however if looks could kill...

It took me 5 attempts to get a 35% damage sliced one with some good units..... now because of the WoW beta and the devs giving us another run around with the CU I prolly wont use it at all
