Guys,
I know i have read this somewhere before but when you have a DOT weapon with uses still left on it (or a '-1' infinite use weapon)-- You can still use it even if the condition is '1 of whatever' -- right?
So the question is what makes your weapon condition '0 of whatever'? I mean as your weapon gets low should you repair it? or just keep using it and never repair it?
I have some decent DOTs and they are getting low so i thought i would ask.
thanks

I know there was a problem with this. I dont know if they have fixed it yet but when the condition gets to 0 or 1 not sure which one. the dot isnt suppose to work on it. So if you want to use it repair it or use the it at 1 or 0 condition untill they fix it (or they have). But it is a dot weapon how much condition do you really take off each time you wach someone to get the dot to stick and switch weapons. A dot weapon should never be used to fight with as your primary weapon or at least i would never use a dot weapon as a primary weapon

Yea but if you have a really kicking DOT weapon you dont want to break it when it gets low....so i was just wandering what would be the best course of action for one that is geting low so you dont (heaven forbid) loose it.

Dont think it has been fixed yet but if the condition of the weapon is 0/750 the DOT still sticks. If however, you attempt to repair it and fail resulting in a condition like 1/1 then the weapon is broken and the DOT will no longer work.
Trouble is, if you dont repair it and it reaches 0/750 then they fix it to stop applying DOTs you cannot repair it, you could wait and see what happens or let it get to zero without a repair and be buggered if they do fix it at some point
