Depends on your pike IMHO or the type of NS you come across, trackers etc. all the low levels yeah easy but if you wann strike gold, buy a NSEL (Night Sister Energy Lance), then you can hunt Elders and as you are a doc i'd say you should do ok

You can handle anything that doesn't have 100% resist to electricity or kinetic,

Yes, you can take on single NS or SMC witches with nothing but your skills and a crafted pike (no tapes, skill mods, etc). That of course assumes you're using the standardized superarmor and have good buffs. You can do it without those if you're daring, but it's not recommended.

There are a couple SMC you can't damage at all I believe, and of course Elders are immune, but everything else is quite doable. The harder ones (Protectors for instance) are best avoided in groups, but one-on-one you're all set.

You can easily take on most NSs. Though, as said, without a NSEL, you cant touch the Elders...

Even with an energy lance, 300 or so max damage and light armor piercing isn't likely to get you very far against a Heavy Armor, 350k+ HAM elder.
