Thread: Pikeman Greatest hits!
Here goes myne,
(just a little side note, my skills currently were TKA 4-0-0-4, Swordsman 0-0-4-0, novice medic, Master pikeman)
Earlier today I was on Dantooine talking to some friends in our local cantina, when I get a /tell from a friend (master commando) asking me if I want to do a small raid with him to a place called the Oasis. I was a little hesitant because I just got master pikeman and haven’t PvPed with it at all. After hearing horror stories from people saying how awful it is in PvP due to the accuracy/speed I wasn’t too eager to try it out. But after a little coaxing he finally got me to go.
When we got there and scoped out the place we saw 2 maybe 3 people. We decided it wasn’t anything we couldn’t handle so we few back to Anchorhead to become overt and head back there and give the Imperials a surprise. When we got there, there was one red dot leaving. We were just about to chase him but then he looped around and we spotted him just little ways away getting off of his vehicle and pulling out LLC (light lighting cannon) and running toward us. Quickly I hit /burst and darted over there using COB to dodge his shots I managed to get him knocked down and get one more hit off before my friends flame took over and took his ham away like nothing. Just after we finished off this guy we see another person trying to make a fast escape. Since we were fairly close to the entrance she was kind of bottlenecked into coming through either one of us. She chose me…bad idea. I targeted, then I hit my knockdown and she fell like a rock off of her bike, a few action hits and some flame and she came down with not too much of a fight on her part.
After these two deaths we waited around for a little longer hoping that more Imperials might show up. None did. After about 20 minutes we gave up waiting and decided to head over to Fort Tusken to see if there were any over imperials there. There were none. After we dinked around there for a little while my friend logged off, I said my farewells and hopped back on my speeder and darted back to Anchorhead. On my way though I spotted a very nice town called Mos Nox that had a lot of venders and looked like a neutral crafting town. I made a mental note to come back and check out some venders if I had the time.
When I got to Anchorhead I asked the recruiter to make me covert again. Then I walked into the cantina and saw a dead AFK rebel lying on the ground. I quickly opened up my map and my heart jumped, there was an overt Imperial right in front of me, or it looked that way because he was downstairs. So just when I got the nerve to go down there and die an honorable death for the Rebelian he came storming up chasing someone else and I saw it…the dreaded unarmed hit 3 animation. I knew I wasn’t going to hang around then so I made a quick dart for the door, I made it outside only to see that he was following me closely. With a quick dizy + Knockdown I was down on the ground. I was an easy target and he finished me off with ease, lying there with my health bar all the way gone and having the TKM standing over my body I hit FoW and luck was on my side because for the first time ever, it worked how it should. I got up with half health. Soon after I got up I managed to get two bleeds of on him and make a dash for it. After he started to bleed he ran back downstairs into the cantina. Quickly I followed and got the finishing hits on him. He was through, and it felt really good to get a TKM under a fair fight.
After all this was over and I got my BF healed, I went back to the town I spotted on my way over to go check out the venders to kill time and wait for my Faction to be covered again. While I was there I didn’t run into anyone until after I bought a few things and was running around the town seeing how it was set up. The person I saw was a Novice Bounty Hunter. Or that’s what his title said. Either way, as soon as he saw me he jumped on his speeder and made a dash for it. Since I was already ahead in PvP today I didn’t try to push my luck and chase after him. Instead I ducked behind their city hall and watched him zoom around in wide circles around the city hall/me. But while I was watching this guy I glanced down at my spitial box and saw “Attack, Attack, Attack!” clearly someone was sicking a pet on me. I whirled around and saw a graul and someone telling it to attack me. As soon as I saw this I quickly hit /burst again and darted toward the graul and his master. As soon as he saw me coming he started to run the other way planning on leaving me to his graul. But either lag or luck were on my side because he didn’t realize I was burst running until I was on top of him, spamming my bleeds and action hit 3, He went down after 3 or 4 hits. And I performed a deathblow to him then moved on to his graul. The grauls after the patch I didn’t realize how easy they are now, so I was able to kill the graul with out any problem. After this I knew it was my time to leave, having been a good first experience with PvP and pikeman.
I know this is a little longer then it should have been, but I just thought it was a fun experience and that some of you might want to hear about it. Good luck out there and don’t forget to post your own stories for others to read!

I got so many but I remeber this one encounter with this PvP fellah Omicron in Ancorhead on Tatooine:
This is prepatch, and I had just finished another one of my many Kyrat expedittions when I realized I was short of sunburns and needed to make a quick stop by my guilds Chefs place outside AH, so I took a shuttle to the rebel outpost. Once at the outpost I set for the cantina heading out the entrance to the north, and that is when I realize there is someone beating up some of my faction "friends" right outside the tavern. I couldnæt believe this, there was this ONE imperial master TKA on buffs soloing the entire outpost killing of whoever was overt. I had to put an end to this horror.
I ate my food, drank my last sunburns andtook my spice cause I realized; this buffed up fellahcould be a hard nut to crack, and once I was ready I slowly walked by him, realizing he was watching me and decleared myself overt. Needless to say I get the infamous KD + Dizzie and this beeing before CoB, I went down into the ground like a big sack of potatoes. Watching as he starts his unarmedHit3 spin I start spamming /stand and /warcry2, and I get a hit. He stops, and he has to watch me undizzie and and stand up.Iinstantely hit him with sweep1, intimidation2, and both my bleeds and then spam away with Leghit3s. realizing he was on doctor buffs I understood the one chance I had to take him down would be to focus on his actionpool, and he starts loosing HPs... then, as his actionpool closes to zero, he decides to make a run for it, but oh no, there is no escaping me and my PolearmLunge2, so he goes down again and has to watch me walk over to him, hit him one last time with Leghit3 and then finally run my DB macro on him, "Finish him!", "Fatality!" and "Braglor Wins!".
After the fight I had to ask him to finish me off in a duel, because I needed to be overt. He's a great guy and keeps the spirit of the galactic war alive on Radiant, so if u catch up with him these days, prepare to meet a very skilled PvPer as I am sure he has evolved his skills greatly since last time I ran into him(which is another most funny story).

rabbbyte, good to know there are a few pikemen out there on Ahazi, never see any, if you ever need a hunting buddy, or just want to kick some imp ass, just /tell me, im master pike and master doc, and all buffs are free for all pikemen name is Athos Starfire in game.
i had a quite interesting incident the other day....
for some reason i was overt (rebel) and i got a mission from some player base. while running to my second mission i had to skim by an imp city, i knew it extisted but i didnt know i had to go through it. i knew the guild who had the city was big on pvp so i tried to stay as far on the outskirts as i could. thanks to slow loading i noticed i was about 100 meters from a group of imperials, 3 overt (i think) and 2 or so covert. i instantly ran in the opposite direction hoping they wouldnt see me but one of the covert ones started runnin in my direction. well is see the system message "you have been banned from (insert city name here)" and i let out a sigh of relief. well im happy the overts didnt attack me and continued on my way to the mission. for some reason i turned around really fast (mouse problems) and saw a big red arrow on the corner of the city map... oh no an overt imp on a speeder. i hope its just someone riding around and not comin after me. well this person gets closer and im like ooh no i gotta fight someone. its a tk, didnt know how high though (not a master). i have her selected and when she gets close on her speeder i ready my finger to press sweep. she gets right on me and i sweep her while on the speeder. she doesn kd but gets off the speeder. one more sweep and she's on the ground, still hasnt hit me yet. ph3 (i didnt wanna dizzy, that wouldnt be interesting plus it prolly wouldnt have stuck the first try) w00t it hit her action pool and by the looks of it she doesnt have a very high action pool. gets up from the posture change on ph3 or combat equilibrium and hits me once, not too damaging and i leghit her 2 times, down. i try to click db but she FoW and then she hits me a few times while i leghit her some more, she finally goes down and i db her. left her bike cuz destroying bikes sucks 
(mine was destroyed about 10 minutes earlier by some imps). funny thing is i think i was using a vl, dunno why i had it equiped i never use it. maybe i hit the wrong hotkey for weapons lol. if i wasnt buffed with myenhance Bs i dunno if i woulda won, i got down pretty low from just the few specials i did. lol silly enhance Bs barely help but it's better than nothin. i tell her good duel and we have a convo about stuff and then i say bai bai and go off into the desert and get slain by some desert demons. very fun though (the duel not the desert demons).
