Thread: WHAT SHOULD I BE FENCER OR PIKEMAN?????????
I would say: Which one sounds more interesting to you? Go with the one that you think you would enjoy more, as you will be more satisfied. Both professions have some issues, and both will enventually be fixed.
Recently, Fencer has become glorified a bit because every Pitoleer and his brother jumped on Fencer for the stacking Dodges. But since that is at an end, Fencers will drop in population and the bandwagoners will move on to the next FOTM.
I have a FAQ up in the Fencer forum that specifically addresses the question "Should I become a Fencer?" You might check it out.
If you decide to become a Pikeman I must warn you that you will be amoung the greatest company in the game. Some of the best persons I have met have been Pikeman, and I'm proud to call them friend.
Now if what you are really asking is "C4n 1 B Ub3r n PWN U 411 aZ 4 P1k3M4n?" then I would invite you to find a profession outside of both Fencer or Pikeman, as we have enough to deal with.

...seriously though, you should as Raphayl stated base your decision upon what you believe will suit your playstyle the most. It is a rather personal question, so my suggestion would be to try them both out and see which one you prefer.
hmmm...my take is...My main is a fencer...I love it!!!!!!!!!!!! It is all about the stun baton (my fav weapon)
however...I decided to fire off a holo on my alt and it said be a pikeman...It appears that it will be a long hard road because I hit nothing but air....I just switched to a lance instead of a LVA and I hit more...but in big piket groups I still get 500xp vs 2k xp as a fencer....
If you have the time and dedication...you might try pikeman. If you want instant fun and skills...go fencer.
