HI . iam new to pikeman(**edit**) can any body tell me what melee weapons do i need ,what r the prices, and what r the stats they have to be . i am on lowca if u know a shop ,pls give coords or name of weaponsmith. thakns

If you are starting with brawler you'll need:

a wooden staff (artisan made, you'll probably have to ask an artisan to make you one) it can be crud since you'll only use it to get to polearm I.

a reinforced combat staff with good stats, again, talk to your friendly artisan, use this until you get lance certs.

a GOOD lance. Maybe 2 or 3. You'll be using this for a while.

If you are already at novice pikeman, start here. You'll need a good, regular lance, a vibrolance, and long vibroaxe. In conjunction with these you'll also need some tatooine sunburn and/or doc buffs and muon gold.

For the best advice, I'll refer you to a great FAQ we have on these boards, I don't believe it is stickied yet but it should still be on the first page. It has most of the answers you are looking for.

For finding a weaponsmith, try hitting control-V (map) ingame and then on the right hand side under vendors look for weaponsmiths. You can also do a cntrl-P search for other pikemen and ask them where they purchase weapons.
