Thread: Pikeman Again
Well, my first character was a Pikeman on Tarquinas and I can tell you I would miss alot.
However, I have recently picked up the profession again and I dont notice myself missing anywhere near as much. I am dumbfounded. Is this a nerf or change???? I am thinking of dropping Fencer and going master pike all the way now. I definitely kill much faster as a novice pikeman than as a 4/4/4/3 Fencer. By the way, I have master Brawler too. If they make any more changes to Pikeman I think I will definitely take that road again.
No, this is a joke. I HAVE a master fencer friend, he can solo 3/4ths the force cave with a set of doctor buffs, if only my pike was so lucky.. *sigh*

hummm... I assume you're talkin bout that infamous cave on Dantooine? As a pikeman with quite a lot of defense, I am able to solo that cave with ease, always attacking groups of 3-4 force sensitive. Mainly using the warcy when approaching(remember the cone AoE), then intimidating all and dealing out the bleeds as well as aread KD and Dizzie + Stun, then take them down one by one by focusing the Leghits. I was able to solo the nightsister Cave a few times before the holidays useing this tactic as well.
Then again, I am not surewhat template you have set up for your pikeMan 
gotta love how they are able to stack their fully operational dodge with the pistolere dodge. I am sure that we too could perform such "miracles" if only our block was working... erh.. working BETTER than "intended"
