Thread: Best Armor/Stat Configuration for Rodian
Hi Guys,
I could use some help configuring my armor and stats. I'm currently using Ubanese armor without the helm but I find myself being "mind incapped" a lot. Can people share their Armor and Stat (stat migration) suggestions for a Rodian Pikeman/CH?
Thanks

Alas I am not Rhodian, I still hope I can help you with some advice concerning your mindproblems. Have you completely maxed out all your Mind(mind, focus and willpower)? If not that would be my suggestion, then set all secondaries on Health and Action to a minimum, and distribute the remaining statpoints on Health and Action. Now, you might think your HAM costs are going to kill you, and you are correct; they will. However, you need to start on a new diet to compensate: Sunburns and Ryshcates(or whatever food that gives good statsboost to the Action secondaries). I find this char to be most viable as a Zabrak, but then again you are a Rhodian and you have other stat caps, so you will probably need to do some modifications.
Anyways, I hope you get my idea: loose secondaries and rely on food and drinks to help support your PoleArm specials.
Arh, I wrote this with the thought of you wearing a full set of ubese or comp sliced for Encumbrance giving you around 350-450 in overallencumbrance costs. ![]()
to the mind pool that is

Anyway, I guess the real question I have is: Is armor worth it? I suspect that Ubanese is. Is wearing a helmet (any helmet) worth it, if so, what type? I'm not really sure I want to rely on food/spice/buffs to compensate for stat loss. If I do, what food/spice do you suggest?
The biggest issue I'm having right now is "mind incap" It seems like I get hit once or twice, use a stim, get hit again and I'm incapped. I have 900 mind - I shouldn't get incapped as much as I am.
Any comments/suggestions?

Trust me knowing a good chef is a lifesaver, and wearing the correct armor could mean the difference between success and failure. To compensate for stats when wearing armor sunburns and ryshcates are good all over not too expensive solutions, muon gold is a piece of heaven and costs the same, so be prepared to give a couple of thousan creds for a couple of crates.
About which helmet type you should wear, you need to think about what you are going to fight. I use a 80% melee comp armor helmet sliced for encumbrance to suit themind cost of it.
good luck! ![]()
hey, I LIKE the ubese headwear, lol... but no, I'm a rodian myself, and encumbrance is the biggest biznatch taht you'll have to deal with. The ubese is good, because the jacket protects multiple areas, and the encumbrance isn't so bad. use this for PVE, however for PvP, you might just want to get a set of composite sliced for encumbrance, or even tantel, as you will be shot at more that you will be smacked (at least, that's my experience, switch to ubese if facing other brawlers).
For stats, I tried to max out my mind stats as high as I could, taking away a bit from all the health and action pools. I have something like 950 health, 500 strength/constitution 900 action, 500 stamina/endurance (or whatever it's called). Entertainer buffs will help you ALOT.
Another thing I like doing is using CoB while unarmored, then quickly hitting a macro to put on my ubese, so that the drain on my HAM is only minimal and I can then attack while the CoB is still active.
Word up for the Rodian Pikes! Btw, if you're ever on Wanderhome, send Drachenfels a tell![]()
