What I did and thought worked pretty dang fast was this:
Step #1. Buy a set of high kinetic resist Ubese armor and get it sliced.
Step #2. Buy several of the fastest LVA's and VL's you can find and get them sliced.
Step #3. Get doctor buffs and a bunch of Vasarian(sp) Brandy
Step #4. Go to Dantoonie and do Quenker missions until you can do Savage Quenkers.
Step #5. Once you think you are up to it try doing Giant Baz Nitches on Dathomir.
Your best tactic is probably going to be to use your spin attacks while standing on or near the lairs. For the Quenkers I would definitely recommend using the VL. I did the Speed tree first so that I could swing faster and have the AE stun to increase my damage. Depending on what point you are at in the tree you will want to use different attacks as your main spam for damage. I enjoyed the grind myself and hope you do also.

Here's what I did.
1) Get some good kinetic armor(my wookiee armor has 30% kinetic)
2) Get buffs, and Vasarian (sp?) Brandy. You can get muon if you want to, just in case.
3) Go to dant, and get savage quenker missions, two in the same direction. They pay around 6.8-6.9k and you need to use the VL.
4) Group with a pet/droid/person and leave him/her/it at the outpost.
Then, go have some fun!

Yep, sweep 1 is a single kd, sweep 2 is an area kd. Works well with area attack 2 since that dizzies.

Simple, go up 4000 1st, and then whatever you can go up next.
For weapon, get a VL and go to dantooine. Get Master Doc buffs, kick@$$ armor (If you're not a wookiee like me
), and go do 9000 CREDIT PIKET PLAINS WALKER MISSIONS!
I never did quenker or savage quenkers and it only took me 2 days to get to 4003

do what jadkia said except for step 4. instead go to endor and do mature hanadak rock smasher missions. they are super easy and pay 11k+ per mission. do this till master. they gave me 4700+ xp a piece. after a while they gave me 4973 xp per dead hanadak. you will be master in no time
