Hi all, I'm gonna grab novie Pikeman tomorrow with the intent on mastering it and I'm Probably gonna get my Master Carb tomorrowtoo. I'm wondering what your thoughts are on this combo. I'm doing this combo because I want to try out both simply 'cause.
But I'm curious if there are any out there running this combination and what advice you have for the rest of my points.
I'm mainly a PVP character, PVE just doesn't really interest me.
And opinions / comments are welcome, good or bad.

Well, I'm doing the same (currently 4022).
Carbine will have most use as PVP. Unless you get yourself a DOT lance (240 mind poison here, baby), pike won't be very useful in PVP. I enjoy watching myself do Pike moves, though. hehe

I'm doing this combination too, and probably adding 4/4/0/0 fencer for some extra defences. Change my mind about three times pr day though

yeah master pike/carbineer with fencer dabbled is my combo as well

Anyone else have any info??
How bout any suggestions for Macros for Pike in PVP?

Doing the same thing here for PVP. Good Combo. It's no Pistol/Fencer, but still good combo.

From my experience so far, it's pretty fun...
Coming from Carbineer/Fencer is kind of harsh because you'll miss the defenses.. but play offensively, and you'll do okay.
Get some really nice DoT lances.

Well, I'm Master of both now, and I do my macros like so:
areakd
/shout AND THEY ALL FALL DOWN!;
/chargeShot2;
/polearmSweep2;
Do the same for area stun, area dizzy (fullautoarea2/pike area 2?), and single KD. I get a message telling me I can't do the attack with the weapon (can't chargeshot with pike and vice versa), but I don't think there is any difference in the order of my attacks.
