Ill tell you the same thing I tell everyone else who asks questions like this.

No profession will grant you constant wins. If you dont know how to use your skills you might as well stay at novice brawler since youd have the same chance of winning as you would with a master.

If you know how to use your skills in pvp you can go toe to toe with any other profession, if you dont then why pvp anyhow, I mean why not just find a nuna lair or something and spam your specials on it?

This isnt a flame, Im just telling you that this sounds alot like a "what is the best template?" thread that was started on shadowfire, which obviously has no real answer.

My first elite profession that I mastered was doctor and it ate up all my skill points so I have room for 1 combat profession. I mastered TK about two weeks ago and I like it alot but EVERYONE has/had it. It's a great profession with meditation, powerboost, force of will, but I have always had my eye on pikeman. Im sort of into PvP but I also do PvE for getting meats and what not. I wanted to see who here who has been TKM or knows alot about it and could compare the two and give me advice on whether or not i should drop TKM and go Pikeman.

With doc on top if you like self buffing and keep brandy your ham costs will be under 10 mind. If you decide to go pikeman definately get an lva under 3 speed. As long as your fast and buffed almost nothing can outdamage you in pve (Assuming youre fighting low lvl things like pikets for herb meat.

If you get DoT pikes youre deadly as hell in pvp. I got a 242 str action fire one, and only then did I learn how the fire dots work. Not only do they wound they also ass damage, making it alot more then 242 damage a tick. When I use it Ive never lost, hell when Im bored I can even hit once for the fire and sit back nice n cozy in my armor and watch em fall.

If youre rich pikeman can be the best pvp profession youll ever use, if youre not youll be decent at best.

i went on a 13-0 dueling run today and about 6-9 of them were tkm. Not a single tkm got anyone of my ham barrs down below 1/2. The only one to even come close was a heavy swordsman and when i used equilibrium to bring it back up he swore up and down i had a cm healing me after i won.

Ive said this many times before tka dont stand a chance against a well prepaired and equiped pikeman.

Well I am not too rich, i float around 1 million with buffs/rez kits on the bazaar/newly selling resources, how would I fair against a rifleman? fencer? pistoleer? They set up a wicked new battlefield on flurry and I don't want to get my ass handed to me on the end of a gaffi stick or t21 sorryicantusethespacebaranymorebcausemybrotherswifesaiditmadetoomuchsqueeking.ihopethatimaketherightdecisionofwhetherornottokeeptkmortogopike.itlookssocool!
