Okay, yes, I'm a hologrinder, and yes, this was my 3rd holo. I'm also hoping to enjoy this profession a little too though, so please don't flame, just give me some leveling tips.

Pikeman's my first holocron. I got it way back in November or so, and wasn't really in the mood until a week or two ago when I started it. Now I'm 0-0-3-2 and really sort of enjoying myself.

I strongly recommend picking up some Ubese armor and heading to Dantooine. If you're by yourself, hunt quenkers. If you've got a couple of high-level friends, hunt Graul Maulers.

Quenkers are nice but only 2 per wave therefore only 6 per lair. Lately I have been doing Gurks on Lok, somethign like 9-12 per lair and they give about the same exp as Quenkers (within 20% or so). Like they said, armor with good kinetic protection and i recommend some buffs, at least secondaries. As far as armor, I like Advanced Chitin for grinding melee classes. 50-60% kinetic protection with the Sharnaff-plate stuff and it is very light.
