Im a Master Fencer now and it's really good for PVP but sucks as almost non of the weapons have armor piercing. I'm looking to try out Pikeman. Is it good for PVE?

It rocks for PVE. Nothing more satisfying than taking a nice LVA and whacking some big thing with it for 7k of damage. This isn't the norm, but with the amount of area attacks, area dizzy, area knockdown, it's definately great to have, especially in groups. If you're keeping fencer, then you shouldn't have much problem with defense. The only thing that may frustrate you while grinding it out is accuracy. Use a regular lance while you can (they have + range mods but no AP) and switch to the LVA when you start getting up in accuracy.

Yeah, PvE, pikeman is awesome. Nothing like causing damage to several opponents all at once with those area attacks. This is coming from someone who is also taking up Rifleman, so. . . :-)

Thanks for the tips. Before I really knew how to play, I was at around 2/1/0/1 or something on Pike but then dropped it because I thought it sucked. However, this was before I even knew resources had stats so I was noob. I then went TK because everyone had it. Then it ate my mind too much so I went Swordsman, then soloing elders got boring (but I got a +23 med experimentation sash!), I went fencer. Now I'm owning people with my stun baton, EVEN JEDI that aren't really good (2/4/2/3 Lightsaber!). But I'm going to be up for another change soon I think.
