maybe the devs could put an academy sort of place into the game.
it would be one large biulding full of npc pikeman that give hints training and so on. Several npc's within the biulding can give quests that earn extra xp towards the academies proffesion. There is a local terminal where Weapon Smiths can put weapons up for sale. After mastering the academies proffesion you can continue to do missions and earn xp then spend the xp on proffesion based armor and weapons. After mastering you may also move to a prestige title that gives you special bonuses such as defense, speed , damage , the limits never end. And hey what better way to pull pikeman together. There would also be a battle circle for dueling npc's and/or other players.
what do you guys think

i like the idea, something that would take us away from grinding and the academy would earn us our new skills maybe u train a little then duel an npc at ur level and if u defeat them u earn a new skill untill master. would make this game alot better id say

IMO skills should take forever to master. . . i used to play a game, called UO, when i started, over half of the proff was done for me, i started with 50 swordsmanship out of 120 - max, as i started killing things went smoothly, gaining and gaining until i hit 90. . . when i got there something odd happened, when i killed certain animals , my skill would not raise as fast. . as i neared 100 it took days and days to get the few point needed to get to Master swordsman ( 100 ) after i bought the necesarry scrolls ( to allow you to break 100 ) i started woking on that, over a year playing and as i started to quit, i was around 115 ( needed money for 120 scroll ) with other stats around that and in the 90's. . . . .i think it made having a skill worth something, so someone wouldnt just drop everything they had and be a FOTM the next day. . . .but then again. . .things were balanced so there was no need to drop what you had for something else. . . . . .i think if we made it harder to master a proffesion it would make it mean something to be a Master pikeman, or master anything else. . . .
in this you know that if you run XX missions and kill YY squills you will be ready to train, or master. . .
but the Academy idea sounds ok . . . a little tweaking here and there. . . . maybe one big Melee academy, and one big ranged academy would be more helpfull. . . . .cause you know how full the enclaves are of Jedi trying to learn . . . . .
