Thread: To kill a jedi....

hey all just a fast question from all you jedi hunting pikemen out there.. what do you use to kill jedi when they are on their backs?
heres a few things you need to know
1. ive been ingame since launch day
2. hunted jedi VERY OFTEN with my last template (same as current only I just recently switched fencer for pikes) so i know about intimidate etc, etc.
3. own a 1300 dmg LVA
4. not speed capped
So, my main problem is that after i get the jedi on their backs i have no attack to use mainly becasue hit3 posture changes em and they pop back up! I've tried leg hit 3 but it just plain takes too long even with some powerful action fires on there. so what is the attack you guys use to drop their HAM fast? area attack2? hit1? please some tips on taking them down are greatly apreciated (Again, i know about all the foods, and how to use states effectively

Well, first off congrats on the 1300 LVA, and /thumbsup for takin' the fight to the Jedi.
ANYWHO I simply area2 untill they are stun/dizzy, then sweep um, once they are down I use hit 2 on them, as *sadly* hit3 is a posture change.
I'm sure that doesnt help much, but I'm just trollin around...

alright, i was just messing around on the DPS calculator and i noticed hit1 has the same dps as hit3 for me..... ill have to test it out and see whats best, im currently lookign for tapes but not much luck, i missed my window to buy a +18 (needed to cap) AA for 8.7mil :'(

I fought an enforcer on our server in a duel, and the only way i did anything to him was by getting dizzy/KD on him, then spamming area 2, i would also throw in bleeds and intimidate with that just for the extra force cost it would take him. . . .but i just keep it going b/cause as soon as he healed the dizzy, he would drop one more time, and i kept him down for 20-30 seconds by just keeping him dizzy. . . . .

ye area 2 is nice for keeping jedi down unless they are master defenders

i checkd a DPS calculator and not 100% sure if this is right, but i think area2 does the same DPS (when capped on speed) as hit3 does
i have heard someone say something about hit3 for pikes having a lower dmg modifier than say hit3 for swords, this may be why i saw this on the DPS caculator. i would honestly say, go w/ area2 once u get em on their backs also.....definately speed cap
Polearm hit 3 has a higher damage modifier than area 2, I know that much. Also, area 2 and hit 2 have the same damage multiplier. So if you want to keep the Jedi on their back, use area 2 as it applies dizzy/stun instead of just stun with hit 2.

Can't keep a jedi dizzy/kd forever...there will be times when you get to use hit3

yeah, didnt think that DPS calculator was very accurate, well personally i would say still go w/ leghit3 (i use it and do pretty good w/ the 300 action fire stack)

if u got medic u canjus warcry and intimidate em a little then spam hit3 till they run outa force, course with a 1300max lva u should be doing around 600 damage or so each hit so if u get lucky enough to hit a few times at the same pool before they heal u can incap real quick. i normally do this in pvp but i always get ganked

no 1 uses wc on chimaera no more (apart from the few arses) and pvp seems to be better wo it ppl finally got rid of the wc bots
