I still think its invaluable. I insist on having at least Novice Medic in any template, PvE or PvP.

Medic has always been a must for PvP in my opinion, as well as PvE, especially now that NPCs are using specials again. And if you dont have medic, dont tell anyone on your server, cause some people will still target mind even though you cant heal anyway, since they assume you have medic.

IMO Novice Brawler and Novice Medic should be in any template, PvE or PvP

Nah, I think people target mind anyway because they have some blind devotion to it. There's obvious reasons to target mind in pvp, but I've been in groups fighting Krayts and Goraxes where the ONLY swordsman in the group will still Headhit even though hes the only one in the group who can. The state of teamwork and common sense in this game is appalling at times, the CU is going to be quite a shock to some I'd wager..
And yes, without a doubt medic has always been a near-prerequisite for pvp and any kind of real pve.

I was always The stacker of something and never ventured into a novice proffesion, I would either master an elite or dabble in an elite I think the 15 pts is a waste....

i have pharmo 4 in medic and i love fighting someone and wathchign my health explde to the top, then they end the duel an complain about me healing and I just tell them, that i only did it b/cause they were using stun damage. . . . .
fencers are sissies..............

A real fencer is not a sissy. Thats like saying all pikeman are sissy because some of us use DoT's. Wanna reword your statement?

Back in the day when bleeds were devistating, medic 2-0-0-0 was a must. Now days ... I still think at least novice medic is worth the 15 points. Most of the guys I know with no medic at all are unable to do anything without someone with medic backing them up.

I'm always stunned when people don't have at least novice medic.
I've fought buffed & armored players while unbuffed (just food: vercupti & brandy) and won when they've not had any medic skills. A single stim b & my opponent would have won.

Medic is a must.
I have medic with Pharm 4 as well, stim D's are amazing.
Right before the GCW revamp i was in bestine overt and was caught offguard, forgot i was overt. It was a twi'lek TK fully buffed and fully armored. I'm a master pike/(was) master TK. I meditated, ate synth steak, 2 brandy, ahrisa, snowcake, neutron pixie, and CoB. I absolutely rocked this guy without my armor and buffs... why? Because he had no medic skills (and because of a 1k pike 203 action fire and 225 action poison
) reguardless though, if the guy had medic he would have stood a chance.

The best part about my templateis landing 1,000+ worth of mind DoTs on people while being able to cure them too.
Doc owns.

I added master medic to my template, no doc (may drop the scout part for it at some point).
Mainly for healing, I prefer to solo hunt a lot. I do not use buffs, and the only armor I use is mabarai or bone (if I can find it with kinetic and good energy resist). Had some ubese on an alt, but had to be buffed to survive in it.
I should add I do use brandy, and in emergencies I'll pop a pixie ( puking is better than dead )
Now and then if I loot them I'll use the combat stims, and some checf foods if I find them cheap on the bazzar
But being able to do a 500pt heal with a 340pt stim-b is nice. Can't wait till I actually start using the better stims

Heh, what are your stats like? I'm a Twi'lek with maxed Quickness and Strength and if I ever have to do pikeman specials unbuffed I'm dead. Like, half-my-health-gone-cause-I-did-a-Hit3 kind of dead. And I just dropped master doctor yesterday... I could heal for 3000+ per stim.
