Thread: Something else to think about...for a change
Well...since we are getting no joy from developers on anything, i thought it might be time for some game speculations. Not that anything would ever come of this, but at least its different than complaining to no avail.
What i would like to be able to do...
I would like it if my LVA could fire off a stun blast, that could stun my running opponent for a bit. This could only be used every XX secs, and would last XX secs. So even if I cant knock him down, at least he would stay put for a few shots. Range could be comparable to a pistol, say 32m or so. Using this special would drain the LVA, and would require a new battery, or power cell every so often. Stormtroopers did this to Leia (not with an axe). It could even be only a one time deal, you are out of your depth, about to get offed, so you do the Hail Mary stun, and run like a fool. I've noticed that when attacking with the vibro lance, that often an auto attack uses the non-bladed end to poke the target. That could be the firing end.
I would like a tornado attack. While in a room with multiple targets, engage the tornado and whip around like a madman, hitting all the targets. Do awesome damage, then be drained. Hopefully this would be done while grouped with others so you dont end up mushy. Purely a defensive move. Not to be confused with the spin attack, this would be much more devastating to both foe and pikeman.
I would like a 'Hold Em Back' manuver. Simply spinning the pike around over my head. No real damage caused, but sustainable for a bit, and keeps attackers back the length of the pike. Could be the prelude to the tornado! Winding it up, so to speak.
I would like a 'Frog Catcher' pike. ThisY shaped pronged end would allow me to 'capture' opponents and hold them at bay. Or maybe pin them to the ground, abandon the weapon and run. Instead of a knockdown, a holddown.
Thats all for now. Anyone else spend any time speculating while lying on your backs....
they need to give each melee a new attack that is basicaly a running stun.
TKA-Kidney Punch....they can't run to far and they miss a action turn
Fencer-Belt Cut...they can't run and if they do they trip
Swordsman-RibSmash-they can't run, fall to one knee and takes some wounds.
Pikeman- KneeCapJab.....they can't run and loose their knockdown timer defense(only if they have one active on them and they get it back if they get Knocked down)
all of these only work once every 30 seconds
