Thread: The Sickening Truth- A realization from this patch

The recent patch (Or patch before?) in the last 2-3 days supposedly increased the amount of damage we do to a lair that has no guards... now, maybe this is only happening to me and another couple of pikes on lowca, but we've found all of the ranged attackers hit for high damage on lairs that are ungaurded, as the patch stated... however, WE DO NOT! We still hit for 300-500-700 like we did before the patch.


Does this mean they feel we aren't even worth changing anymore?

Actually, yesterday I tested that to see if we really do more damage after the lair has no more creatures to spawn. When using a vibro lance, I did about 200-350 per hit. After there was nothing left to guard the lair I did about 200-300 per hit. Strange how we are so favored by these patches of late, isn't it?

lol, im a master pikeman/commando, and using flamesingle on an empty lair i did around 17k damage per hit, but when i used polearmhit3 it was only doing 1k-3k damage per hit on different lairs, i think they didnt get ir programmed right, so some lairs were letting u do extra damage before it was empty, and some were not letting u do extra damage even if nothing else was going to spawn, and i think that NPC lairs (not creatures), u know like rebels/imps/thugs/marauders and stuff like that dont give u an increase at all, cause although the lair isnt "empty", it just wont spawn anymore unless u go out of range of it and come back

I think its a general bug not specific to melee and ranged or whatever. With the same weapon, I sometimes get the bonus and sometimes wouldn't. Also, remember that a flamethrower is classified as a melee weapon right now, so Apake getting the bonus withhis flamethrower inand of itselfitself negates the idea that only ranged weapons got the bonus. But yes, this bug needs to be brought to the Devs attemtion if they don't know already.

Nope dillos, it's only effecting melee classes from what I can tell. Not the weapons themselves- I never get the bonus with any of my weapons (I've switched between 4 different polearmst rying to see if I did), I dragged some friends out to dath and had them check too, and checked on Naboo. Rifleman, Smuggler w/ PIstol and Commando all got 4-5x bonuses, TKA, Swordsman and myself got nothing.
