I havent posted here in awhile, I was dismayed to see silversurfer move from the Coresspondant slot.

I have been a pikeman since release

I am retireing and moving on to be another smuggler/range monkey....

Yes, I give up my odd ways and eccentricities and follow the borg....my pistol will never compare to the day I got my first VL....it was a^%&^ drop weapon but man I was one of 2 pikeman on Ahazi to carry one around....

Note:

I got killed by a cu pa....and then 5 hours later during PVP did 5 damage to an unarmored opponent while he KD/Dizzy/Stunned me and spammed eye shots....(point blank)

That was the straw that broke my poor old back.....

im givin pikeman 2 weeks tops. it just is way too frustrating. defence sux, damage sux, speed sux, ham costs sux, accuracy sux, specials sux.......omg, now that i think about it, maybe ill only wait one more week....

I can solo Tortur bulls on talus.. and im a 0-0-0-0 novice pikeman using a vibro lance.. i dont even heal during the fight.. during guild hunts.. i was tanking a tortur bull and 3 regulars.. i killed 2 alone before the rest of the group finished thiers.. i think im doing ok. Oh, i dont wear armor either..

In case your wondering.. im also a master doctor.. and i use enhance d's.. otherwise.. i cant kill jack anything.. lol

Aw well, I knew it was coming. Good luck on your endeavors. I will tell you how (if / when) the new and improved pike is. But from what I am gathering it will be a very long while before you get a tell from me in game saying "OMG we are viable without going doc!!".

Soloing bull torturs? but don't heal during the fight? Hmm....did you forget to mention the buffs you applied to yourself during the guild hunt? :-)
