Anyways, I'm a novice pikeman with a slicedlong vibro axe with a powerup

135-555 damage 51% chance of wounds -55 accuracy (I dont remember the ham costs)

Anyways....I was just wondering how I was getting hits of 4k+ sometimes on pretty hard creatures, most recently a bocatt.

this could be a number of things.

If you knock them down before you hit them you get some kind of damage multiplier, but i am not sure what it is, maybe X2.....

also if what ever you are fighting has a weakness to the weapon type you are using.

then again, maybe you are just hitting lucky.

If you find a prone rifleman you will hit for about 6-8K damage easy, it is sweet

Keep in mind also that if you are using a weapon with a armor piercing modifier (LVA is medium) you do more damage against things that have less (Light or none in this case) which is why LVA is sometimes insane damage.

Alot of people dont take the armor piercing rating of the weapons they get into account as far as the damage they can do. They really should.
