Thread: Final numbers from TC- Pikeman forgotten yet again
These are the changes:
Teras Kasi:
Speed +10
Accuracy +60
Toughness +1
Melee Def +30
Ranged Defense +15
Acuity +195
Fencer:
Accuracy +40
Melee Def +50
Ranged Def +40
Blind +20
Dizzy +20
KD +10
Posture Change +10
2H:
Accuracy +20
Toughness +5
Counterattack +85
Stun +20
Pikeman:
Accuracy +40
Block +95
Melee def +15
Stun +20
Ranged def +5
Those numbers don't include the TKA dmg mods, but I heard they are going to be doing close to double what they do now.
As you can see, compared to TKA, Fencers, 2H, and pikeman get left in the dust. Considering that any of the master pikeman I know can't even beat a teras kasi in a duel as it is, and that they are now potentially doubling thier effecientcy, well, you get the picture.
Unless I see a LVA or VL that does close to 900 damage unsliced, with reduced ham and better accuracy,well, I'm going to beleive that we won't ever be fixed correctly.

I have a two-handed friend who is working up TKA tree... I take him down time and time again with relative ease ... he's a 1-2-1-1 in Two Handed and a Novice TKA... I'm at 0-1-0-0 Pikeman.
I have learned early on that melees are not designed to battle Ranged. Accept it - I have - my life is better.
I have also learned that NONE of the brawler classes should be compared to one another. I say this because if you go in a group that consists of 4 novices (Fencer, TKA, Twohanded, Pikeman) - you'll see that they all have different fighting styles and they all play a different TYPE of role in battle.
Pikeman is fun. Melees are Fun.
I think all the other classes will get their damage and accuracy mods on their weapons.TKA just getting their bonses in their skill trees because they arn't really supposed to be using weapons.

Melee Damage Output
I believe that melee damage is too low across the board. I will be investigating move abilities and look into bringing all melee class damage up to a more appropriate level.
Melee Weapon Accuracy
Negative to hits at close range for some weapons.
Devs response -
I don’t like the negative ranges in the slightest bit. I’ll see what I can get changed from the weapon crafting side to negate these modifiers. It will probably be on new weapons only L
I made a new LVA and lance. Haven't made a vibrolance yet, but I doubt it would have changed if LVA's did not.

Well at least were getting alittle better.
now if we could only hit someone while running like the run and gun people can.
or take some damage off from using specials. i still take more damage to myself than giving it out.
