Thread: What attributes for a wookie Pikeman?

As a novice Wookie pikeman, how should I balance my attributes? Is it any different from how a non-Wookie pikeman should set their attributes? I've searched far and wide and not seen any good advice.

In the same position, I upped my mind pool and its regeneration significantly, taking from the other two pools pretty evenly. Why? Because we will take a beating no matter what, and I can barely kill a vynock without using a couple of stims on myself (which uses mind).

Decent medic skills don't really make up for lack of armor (since armored players can use them too), but they help a LOT. Even novice medic will allow you to use stim B's, which if well made can heal pretty well.

Nice to see another person in probably the single most disadvantaged combat situation in the game. At least there might be one person I could duel...

Ha!

I bet I could give you a run for your money with my impressive bioengineer skills. If we could find a droid engineer and a squad leader we could form a PA. Four wookiee pikemen with animals noone can tame, food noone can get off the stacks, droids nobody wants, and whatever the hell it is squad leaders do.

Tremble before us!

At least there's nowhere to go but up (I hope).

I am a Wookiee Master Pikeman, Master CH, and Medic (4-0-0-0).

I have my pool stats at 1250, 900, 900. My strength, quickness, and willpower are at their minimum. My regens are at minimum except focus (550). I am thinking of dropping health down to 1150 though to raise Mind up to 1000.

Essentially, since I have medic skills, I chose to increase the mind and mind regen at the expense of the other pools and regens since I can easily replace large amounts of those pools with small losses in the mind pool. Also, if you duel a heavy swordsman or bounty hunter, you will find another reason to beef up your mind.

As for the str, quickness, willpower stats, they seem to have minimal effect on gameplay. While specials do use up more points, i don't find it to be significant. These points should definitely be moved elsewhere. I ignored my regen rates since I heal myself to replenish, but if you do not have medic skills, you might be smart to not lower these all the way like I did.

as Master pike i decided: regeneration and costs can be fixed by stim b. mind needs 600 regen (max), focus at minimum. health: 1040, action 1030 - mind 1060...to survive in pvp perhaps and on hunts for sure. hits range from 70 at pvp (notmal hit, my teras skill can make more...lol) up to 700 (hit3) - but that was once in 3 months.....while teras always hit with 250-400 at me in pvp - with extreme speed, never see them missing btw...

have fun - u rule when buffed on hunts, u get frustrated when unbuffed alone on any mount. worrt...at start..
