I'm wondering what would be some good ones so i know which ones to use and not to use. I have a couterattack -3 and a polearm accuracy 1 but they don't seem very good, some let me know thanks.

Had the same question, sorta...

I'm about to get a suit of armor with ~20 sockets in it... What would be good to plop in it? Currently I only have 3 +1 speed tapes (not sure if it's a waste of time or not in such a good suit of armor).

Also, Who/Where exactly do these things drop?

the speed TAPES would go in clothing, i think you need armor attachments for the armor pieces, and I personally would put the speed attachments in, you have lots of room for more if they work and speed is very nice

Do polearm damage+ tapes work for us?

I have quite a few and am unsure, considering we don't have a natural polearm damage skill like TKA.

My mistake... They are armor attachments... Just so used to calling 'em "tapes". Today, I found 2 +1 Accuracy attachments on the bazaar...

Now, from what I gather, once at master pike, you've basically reached the speed cap anyway... Would the speed armor attachments make that much of a difference, or should I not bother with them and go for accuracy/defense?

Other question still stands... Where the hell do these things drop anyway?

If using some of the slower specials, the spd cap is not reach at master pike i would think.

Well, From what I gathered, you're not actually at the "speed cap" per se... Reguardless of caps, your special moves will NOT go any faster than the animation... This right (or sound right) to anyone?

Hmm it just seems silly to me that an anitamiton of a move would hold it back from reaching maximum spd. But very possible

I think that the animation will make it look like the speed is at a different cap, the only real way to tell is to keep the combat log and check the times the moves go off, then estimate the time the animation goes. I will try this a little tonight with different weapons (for the different speeds on them) and will see what I find.

As for reaching the speed cap at master, my guess is that the specials will still not be at that cap, so speed mods will do some goodeven at master. That is just my guess though, Hopefully I will reach master sometime this week, if I get some good time to play.

The time inbetween specials is the same even if the animations don't show, i.e. when you are moving. Each special has a different time mod attached to it.
