Oh, man... we have the best bleed for maximum capacity in the game...

Just go up the Support line, which is based on Combat Experience. You get Action Hit 1 and Action Hit 2 - some amazing bleeding potential.

Bleed is only effective vs 10k+ HAM and if you are agroed by more than one critter, other than that use polearm hit, stun, intimidate and you will be set for PVE

/polearmactionhit1 & 2, are those on really slow timers? I'm pretty sure I've been using them and have yet to notice a bleed.

I haven't been a Pikemen very long, I'm at 2,0,1,3

you will now the target it bleeding by three signs:

#1 The red bleed mark by their status effect HAM bar

#2 The constant -2778 damage howering over their head recycling for ten times

#3 The target leaning over, making a funny sound and then come crashing dead into the ground.

Braglor, Im still new to Pikemen so I still rely on /HealthShot1 for my bleed. Tonight I will I will use those attacksinstead of my Pistol Bleed.

Also; Braglor allyour posts have been very informative and helpful. Thank you for your contribution tothe Pikemencommunity

Pikeman bleeds rock. You walk into a group of bafing critters hit COB, intimadate (2 if you have it), action hit 1 & 2, heal yourself, repeat on next critter. Watch them all bleed low while finishing off one with leg hit 1,2, or 3 then move on to the next lowest ones. Make sure you keep COB up the whole time and you can take all sorts of things. I prefer pickets cause they dont db when things go wrong (cough cough like you miss 10 times in a row ) . For the lower levels I was killing Kaadus on naboo or doing group hunts on pickets. I try not to hunt things that db and remember if you get incaped while bleeding something it will jump you as soon as you stand up cause the bleed keeps it agro.

Ok I really hate to mentions tactics involving other professions BUT here goes. Yes we have bleeds (actionhit 1 & 2) and they work great but they are action bleeds. If you happen to have pistol skill (ugh /sigh), namely healthshot 1 & 2, you can stack these badboys at the start of the fight and bleed health throughout the fight and gain FULL polearm xp when the critter dies. You wont get any pistol xp if you only use the bleeds. Now of course I wouldnt recommend using these tactics of course cause pistol bleeds suck but if one was so inclined there ya be.

yah, that was my tactic as well when I grinding unarmed expe to get my TKA skills in orderd to supplement my pikeMan profession. Used the actionhits from pikeMan, and finished the target with some flathand slapping. Something similar is often used to get combat expe, by finishing the beast with a grenade after a successful bleed. Not sure if this isan exploit, but then again one is never sure of anything in this game now are we?
